As a Life coach and naturopath we will coach you in the use of the following natural energy rehab techniques, which combine the best of the ancient (Wisdom) and the modern (Technology) :
These vital energy
enhancing modalities are gentle and non-agressive, have no
side-effects and do not negatively interfere with any conventional
medical care. Their fundamental purpose and intent is to attempt to promote the body 's natural self defense and healing process in order to put your life back on the wellbeing and prosperity track . |
NOTICE: At the present level of the orthodox medical knowledge, not all healing modalities above and herein mentioned are considered scientifically proven; therefore they are not to be construed as substitute to orthodox medical care.
This term includes all Bioenergy-based healing systems .
1- As previously said, Bioenergy or Life Energy or Life Force or simply "Energy" is thought to be a form of electrical energy related to vibrations from dynamic electromagnetic fields, which reflect cellular and subcellular activities. The electromagnetic field of a substance is the interrelationship of particles which are affecting each other through changes and movements. This relationship is definable in terms of "oscillations" and "vibrations". Each substance has a particular frequency at which it most easily vibrates. Vibrations can have an effect at distance and at different levels through the principle of "resonance." The resultant vibration of the human organism is therefore dynamic, changing and moving:and "vital force" is the term used to describe that total energy of the body.
A disruption or alteration of any part of the complex electromagnetic fields that make up the Vital Force results in disorder and disease.
The introduction of a substance with a vibration frequency similar enough to the resultant vibration of the sick body will result in a powerful strenghtening of that body defense mechanism through the principle of resonance. That is a fundamental concept used in Homeopathy and Biofeedback derivative procedures.
2- Numerous healing modalities are just simple procedures based on Energy manipulation ( TaiChi is a good example)
3- The chinese herbology/ Acupuncture concept is also another form of Energy based healing modality (YIN energy vs.YANG energy). When correctly used Chinese herbs are powerful because they can rebalance the root source of dis-eases.
Homeopathy is based on the "Energy" concept .
It is a the system developed almost 200 years ago, by which dis-eases are fought by the administration of microdoses of natural substances which would produce ,in a healthy person, symptoms similar to those of the illness under consideration. Homeopathics act as a booster to the body's reactions. That is why only weak or even infinitesimal doses are needed. Homeopathics are often diluted beyond the existence of a single atom of the original substance, but the unique electromagnetic field of the substance , the "magnetic blue print" or "energetic signature" maintains its identity.
Homeopathy is a natural healing system which provide a life changing experience for millions of people in nearly every country in the world . The word "Homeopathy" is derived from the greek HOMOIOS meaning "like" or "similar"The homeopath and the lifewellness practitioner are concerned with the rebalancing of the whole person as an individual rather than dealing with the dis-ease alone. For that reason, people with the same dis-ease may often be suggested different homeopathics.
Several single homeopathics might be available over the counter in commercial potencies or preset mixtures but their uneducated choice can usually be quite a challenge.
Herbology (chinese patent herbs)
Here also Life energy is the fundamental concept. The manifestation of any invisible force , whether it be the growth of a plant or the movement of an arm, is called Vital force . This force activates all the processes of the body (the unceasing circulation of the blood, the dissemination of fluids in skin and flesh,...) . If this energy circulation is disrupted , optimum organ functions is affected and this results in illness.
The tracks along which the Vital Force moves through the body are called "meridians". On these meridians are small circular areas called Acupoints. Actually these are not really points but rather cutaneous areas which are between 1.2 to 10 millimeters in diameter and they are unique in that they have much less electrical resistance than the surrounding epidermis. It is this electrical resistance (in ohms) to the conductance of an electrical current of 1 volt that can be measured to evaluate the body systems. Traditional assessment procedures, such as auriculology, tongue inspection , pulse reading ,can also be used in the evaluation process to determine the personalised combination of herbs to be used in order to induce a rebalancing of your body energy circulation. Thus Chinese herbals promotes the body s natural healing ability .
Skin puncture with sharp needles is just one facet of traditional Chinese medicine which also include Cupping (use of succion cups) , Moxibustion (use of moxas) , herbal or dietary recommendations, therapeutic exercises (Tai chi, Chi Kong), massage techniques (TuiNa) .
Modern western biofeedback based electrodermal screening devices (EDS) such as the german Dermatron and Vega or the american Interro and Bioscan , all use the traditional chinese medicine concept of Vital Force : they measure your body electrical microcurrent variations at various body points when interfaced with a chosen substance or its signature electromagnetic blueprint. This EDS modality is however not universally understood and therefore questioned by the mainstream conventional health community and many governemental bodies.
An inadequate food intake can so severely deplete the body of nutrients and minerals that the natural defense mechanisms break down and the person becomes vulnerable to attacks from all possible environmental stress.
The information you will get on an adequate food grade supplementation -personalized to your individual needs- will contribute to a rebalance of your body system functions or an enhancement of your life skills/performance.
Numerous supplements are available over the counter but their generic quality grade is often not suitable for your unique condition/situation.
To help attain physical, emotional and mental balance or to promote your higher personal development the following modalities are helpful:

Getting to the point :Is acupuncture the new frontier in wrinkle removal?
By Julie Kirkwood
Daily News of Newburyport
The wrinkles on Carol Puleo's face drive her nuts. They have bothered her since the day when, at age 48, she caught her reflection in a car mirror when she wasn't wearing much makeup.
Since then, the wrinkles have been a constant source of frustration. But there's a limit to how much the now 58-year-old engineering firm administrator is willing to do about it.
Plastic surgery is out of the question. She doesn't even like the idea of a Botox injection.
Yet needles alone, apparently, are not a problem.
For the past year, Puleo has been letting an Andover acupuncturist put needles in her face in an attempt to erase some of the unwanted lines.
"If you open your eyes while you're in there, you feel like a porcupine," Puleo said. "I don't even like looking."
After more than 20 sessions of cosmetic facial acupuncture, which run from $100 to $200 each, Puleo said she's not sure if the treatment has had any effect.
"I have wrinkles around my mouth that I hate," she said. "They tell you they're not going to go away but they can diminish them, and I think somewhat they have. ... I don't know. I just go. I hope it's doing something."
While acupuncture is gaining clinical acceptance for things like pain management and as an adjunct to fertility treatments, there is little evidence that it can erase wrinkles.
Practitioners say the treatment works by bringing spiritual energy, or Qi, to the face to diminish wrinkles. They also typically insert the needles in other parts of the body to improve the client's overall health, and combine the acupuncture treatment with facials, face massages and advice (quit smoking, reduce stress) to fight aging.
Treatments may be offered in a spa, but they are usually done by acupuncturists whose main line of work is more clinical.
Acupuncturist Adriel Breault, for example, spends most of her time treating patients with infertility, migraine headaches, irritable bowel syndrome, and side effects from chemotherapy.
Yet she also sees clients by appointment at Raya MedSpa in Amesbury, where for $100 to $150, she inserts needles into the face, gives a facial massage and applies a variety of herbal masks. It typically takes about seven sessions before the patient notices a difference, she said.
"It's a luxury treatment," Breault said. "You walk out and you're energized from the acupuncture and relaxed at the same time."
At FirstHealth of Andover, where Puleo got her treatments, the cost is $200 for the initial treatment and $150 for subsequent sessions.
These costs are the same or higher than traditional treatments that yield more dramatic results. A Botox injection to relax forehead wrinkles costs $500 to $750. Fillers for the deep lines from the nose to corners of the mouth cost $750 to $1,200.
Beverly Shafer, a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon who practices at Beverly and Salem hospitals, said she has never heard of cosmetic facial acupuncture.
"People are looking for things where they can get a little bit for less time and less expense, for just a little improvement," Shafer said. "As a result, the business sector is responding by producing all sorts of things that may or may not have any merit and this sounds like that. ... Why it would work, I have absolutely no idea."
Acupuncturists say they warn clients ahead of time not to expect dramatic results. Lisa Farwell, a new acupuncturist at FirstHealth of Andover, said she describes cosmetic facial acupuncture as somewhere between a facial and Botox.
"It's really not appropriate for somebody who is expecting results that would be consistent with cosmetic surgery," Farwell said. "They most likely would not be happy with the results."
Breault said she tells her clients the same thing.
"I think if they go in with the knowledge that it's not Botox - it's definitely a lighter treatment, it's a lot more subtle - patients are satisfied," Breault said.
Puleo said she enjoyed the acupuncture, even if the results aren't very noticeable. She liked that the acupuncturist focused on her whole body and not just her face. She also enjoyed the time spent on the massage table listening to Andrea Bocelli or Josh Groban on her iPod while the needles did their work.
"As much as you know there's going to be some pain, I actually look forward to going," Puleo said. "It's relaxing afterwards. ... If I think it makes me feel better, so be it."
Shelly Kindred, a 43-year-old attorney in Haverhill, isn't sure if her cosmetic facial acupuncture treatment worked, either, but she said it felt good.
"I liked the procedure as I was going through it," she said. "It was relaxing and comforting."
Both women said they wish the clinic had taken photographs of their faces before the first session so they could tell if there was a difference.
"I haven't seen any dramatic changes," Kindred said, "but I believe in acupuncture anyway."
Facts about cosmetic facial acupuncture:
**Cost: About $1,500 for a package of 10 weekly sessions, the typical course of treatment.
**What happens: The acupuncturist cleans your face and in some cases may apply a herbal mask. She inserts thin acupuncture needles at particular positions on the arms, legs and perhaps the abdomen. Then she places needles along the wrinkle lines of the face, sagging points on the neck and other places you'd like to change. You rest for about 20 minutes with the needles in your skin.
**What it does: The needles supposedly redirect a CHI energy or life force to the spots on your face you want to alter.
**The results: Acupuncturists claim the treatment can erase tiny lines and somewhat reduce deeper wrinkles. It is a little more powerful than a facial, but not as effective as Botox.
A guide to the increasingly popular acupuncture treatment
The Chinese are known for their flawless complexions. They have always known what Westerners are now coming to acknowledge: that beautiful skin must be addressed both externally and internally. Facial rejuvenation acupuncture is based on the principles if Chinese Medicine. Historically, these treatments were used by the Emperor’s concubines in China to keep themselves youthful and radiant. Today, facial rejuvenation acupuncture is gaining a lot of popularity with those wanting to take years off their face, without the risks of more conventional treatments.
A facial rejuvenation acupuncture series addresses all aspects of the individual’s health and beauty. On the surface, it improves facial tone by stimulating the muscles of the face and reestablishing firmness. This can improve the look of a sagging jaw line, double chin, naso-labial fold, drooping eyelids and can redefine cheekbones. Acupuncture also stimulates circulation in the face, improving facial color, under eye bags or circles, and a flushed face. By stimulating collagen production, individual lines and wrinkles can be diminished. Acupuncture affects the endocrine system and balances hormones. Balancing hormones can improve problems pertaining to the skin such as acne, oily skin, and dry skin.
Facial rejuvenation acupuncture includes a whole body treatment. The aim of the series is not only to resolve problems at the surface, but also to address the internal imbalance that is causing the problem in the first place. For example, in Chinese Medicine, a lack of tone in facial muscles is due to a weakness in the internal organ system relating to the spleen. Therefore, in addition to stimulating the facial muscles themselves, the practitioner will also strengthen the system at its root, so that sagging is less likely to recur. This whole body approach to rejuvenation provides lasting results and many report that they not only start looking better, but also feel better, sleep better, have improved digestion and are relieved of aches and pains.
A facial rejuvenation series consists of 12 weekly or bi-weekly treatments. During the first few sessions, one will begin to see a brightening of the complexion. By about the 6th or 7th session an improvement in facial tone and diminishing of lines becomes more apparent. The results are not as dramatic as a surgical facelift. Rather, the changes are gradual over the course of several weeks. By the end of a series, the face is lifted and bright, wrinkles are diminished, and facial tone and color are markedly improved. Results like these were confirmed by a study published in the Journal of Clinical Acupuncture in which 300 individuals completed a full facial acupuncture series. 90% of the participants concluded with noticeable improvements in their skin. Monthly maintenance sessions are recommended to keep results lasting for years.
Those with conditions such as high blood pressure, bleeding disorders and pregnancy are are not ideal candidates for facial rejuvenation acupuncture. A practitioner will pre-screen all potential patients to make sure they are good candidates for the series.
